1 cup sushi rice
2 cups water
1 pound salmon fillet
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 sheet nori, cut into strips
1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cook sushi rice according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, season the salmon fillet with soy sauce, sriracha, and mayonnaise.
Place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Once the rice is cooked, mix it with rice vinegar for flavor and spread it evenly in a baking dish.
Flake the cooked salmon and spread it over the rice.
Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve garnished with nori strips and avocado.
Notes
For a spicier version, add more sriracha to the salmon mixture.
Make sure to let the rice cool slightly before assembling.
