  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the turkey bacon until crispy. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in the onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, broken lasagna noodles, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella. Mix well until creamy.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
